Our Story

Born out of a deep love for Borneo’s ancient rainforests, we set out to create a wildlife experience that respects nature, uplifts local communities, and protects the forest we call home. As local guides who grew up around these jungles, our roots, culture, and daily life are closely connected to Deramakot’s unique ecosystem. Every trail, and wildlife sound tells a story — one we’ve learned over decades of living, exploring, and guiding in these forests.

Through responsible tourism, we help travelers witness the true beauty of Deramakot while preserving its fragile biodiversity for generations to come.

Our Mission

To provide ethical, low-impact wildlife adventures in Deramakot Forest Reserve while supporting conservation efforts, empowering local communities, and ensuring that every visitor experiences the rainforest with care, respect, and guidance.

Our Vision

To be Borneo’s most trusted and responsible wildlife tour operator — a bridge between travelers and nature — inspiring a global community that values conservation, supports sustainable travel, and protects the last remaining rainforests of Sabah.

Our Background & Local Jungle Knowledge

Our team is made up of passionate locals with years of hands-on experience navigating Borneo’s wilderness.

We understand the forest in ways only a local can

We know the animal movement patterns, seasonal behaviors, and hidden hotspots for rare sightings.

We read the jungle’s signs — fresh tracks, calls, scents, and subtle changes in the environment.

We work closely with rangers, forestry staff, and conservation partners to stay updated on wildlife activity and responsible practices.

We follow strict ethical spotting techniques, ensuring wildlife remains undisturbed.

This deep, lived-in knowledge allows us to guide you safely into the heart of Deramakot — giving you authentic, unforgettable encounters with nature.
